I. Implementer updates
a. TLC – Still testing for Melcat with Michigan Library and the state of Michigan; testing with OCLC for Swift in Colorado
b. Auto-Graphics – continuing to test with Melcat; working through a little confusion with unique id and whose id it represents; testing with SirsiDynix in Wisconsin; preparing to test Ex Libris in Kansas
c. Polaris – testing with Relais; wrapped up testing with Innovative for Prospect in Colorado – site is up and preparing for training
d. Ex Libris – completed testing with OCLC Navigator and will be beginning to test with their common customer; preparing to test with Auto-Graphics; continue to work with Relais and PALCI
II. Ballot results for 2.02
a. Both parts were passed by NISO membership; awaiting official notification from ANSI
III. Report on Informal gathering at ALA Annual, June 2012
a. Small group of approximately seven or eight met informally at ALA
IV. SIP update
a. Co-chairs for a SIP working group have been identified but not yet approved by D2D; NISO, D2D, 3M, and tentative co-chairs have been working to form a working group and identify the initial charge
V. Other items
a. NISO is moving; however, electronic contact means (email, phone) will remain unchanged. NISO offices will be closed next Thursday and Friday.
b. Deadline for change requests to review at fall meeting is August 1.
VI. Next meetings:
a. Monthly call – August 16, 2012 @ 1 pm Eastern time (U.S.)
b. In-person meeting – Fall 2012 – tentatively Oct 9-10
i. Florida Virtual Campus is willing to host in Tallahassee, FL, and they have tentatively reserved a room not only for the two days for NCIP but also for a follow on SIP meeting. The facilities should be able to accommodate approximately 30-40 people.
