I. Implementer updates
a. Kelli Benetiz– TLC Carl
i. ready for customers in Florida to move forward with OCLC Navigator implementation
ii. Contra Costa County Library is interested in further integration with INN-Reach, adding more NCIP messages as necessary – we are still gathering information on this interest.
b. Randy Cook– XC
i. NCIP Toolkit 1.1 released – allows a single application to use multiple connectors (to one or different systems) and some bug fixes
ii. Another Toolkit release in a couple of months will support the NCIP 2.02 release and incorporate recent extensions to NCIP that became part of the standard
iii. Encourages vendors to use the NCIP Toolkit to support their integration
c. Juli Marsh – TLC Library.Solution
i. Working on a project in Colorado to integrate with VDX
ii. Work continues on new implementations with Auto-Graphics in New Jersey and Mississippi
d. John Barr – Polaris
i. Working to integrate with Relais at a consortium in Maryland
ii. Also working on an implementation with the Prospector consortium (INN-Reach) in Colorado
e. Tony O’Brien – OCLC
i. Circ/ILL profile for Navigator testing with Polaris (NCIP v1) and Ex Libris Alma (NCIP v2) and Ex Libris Voyager (NCIP v1)

ii. Continuing to test with MelCat in Michigan

i. Using work with Relais on a project with Atlas Systems at Temple University

i. Customer testing between Voyager and OCLC Navigator underway; integration should be ready to go live before the end of the year
ii. Testing Alma integration with OCLC Navigator
iii. Testing Alma integration with Relais D2D

i. Working on an implementation with VTLS at Hong Kong Public Library
II. NCIP Registry
a. Still need to determine the future of the NCIP Implementers’ Registry
b. Nettie continues discussions with Todd regarding options for NISO to support the Registry
c. We will have an update at the in-person meeting in October
III. Agenda items for the in-person meeting
a. Discussion of defects/enhancements to the NCIP standard
b. Future plans for the Implementer Registry
c. Other agenda items (please submit them if you have something to discuss)
d. The meeting is expected to run from 9 am to 4 pm on Tuesday, and 9 am to noon on Wednesday.
IV. Next meeting:
a. In-person meeting – Oct 9-10, 2012, hosted by Florida Virtual Campus, Tallahassee, FL
i. Nearby airports include Tallahassee (regional airport), Atlanta (international) and Jacksonville (international). Tampa and Orlando are also nearby. Most are within 3-5 hour’s driving distance.
ii. Special rates offered by the Doubletree Hotel in Tallahassee. Information has been posted to the NCIP list-serv. If anyone needs an additional night (Wednesday), please let John know ASAP.
iii. There are many restaurants and bars near the hotel.
iv. John will provide information about getting from the hotel to the FVC meeting location.
